Editorial Policy

Every editorial page on MSME Help follows the same research, review and update process.

1. Sources we rely on

  • RBI master directions, notifications and framework documents (primary reference).
  • Public Board-approved settlement / OTS policies published by scheduled commercial banks.
  • Statutes: SARFAESI Act 2002, RDDBFI Act 1993, IBC 2016, MSMED Act 2006, Income-Tax Act 1961.
  • Reported judgments of the Supreme Court, High Courts and DRT / DRAT benches.
  • Field experience from case files handled by our consultancy team.

2. How content is reviewed

  • Every guide is drafted by a subject-matter writer with MSME lending or recovery-law background.
  • Each draft is reviewed for factual accuracy against primary sources before publication.
  • Pages referring to RBI frameworks or statutory sections are re-checked whenever the underlying rule changes.

3. Update frequency

  • Core RBI-framework and SARFAESI pages: reviewed at least once a year, and immediately after material RBI or judicial changes.
  • Bank-specific pages: refreshed when the bank publishes a new OTS scheme or policy update.
  • City / industry pages: revised as local practice or recovery patterns evolve.

4. Accuracy standards

  • We prefer plain English over legal jargon, without diluting accuracy.
  • Numbers, sections and circular references are cited from the source, not paraphrased approximations.
  • We do not publish anonymous claims or unverified "insider" figures.

5. Corrections

If you spot a factual error, please write to contact@msme.help with the page URL and the correction. Verified corrections are made within 7 working days and, where material, an "Updated" note is added to the page.

6. Editorial independence

We do not accept payment to feature, praise or criticise any specific bank, NBFC or law firm. Consultancy fees are for our services to borrowers, not for editorial placements.

7. Advertising and sponsorship

The Site does not carry paid advertising or sponsored posts at this time. If that changes, sponsored content will be clearly labelled.
